Is this really an entrance door, not a balcony door?
Yes, this is a reinforced entrance unit. Unlike balcony doors, it uses a wide sash, powerful closed reinforcement (2mm+ metal) and special "hooves" (welded corner connectors). It won't sag and will withstand hundreds of thousands of opening cycles.
Won't the plastic turn yellow in the sun?
No. We use original Rehau profile with HDF (High Definition Finishing) formula. It is specially designed to resist aggressive UV rays. The door will stay white (or retain its lamination color) for decades.
Can I install an electronic lock?
Easily. The profile is compatible with modern access systems: fingerprint scanners, keypad panels and smart locks. We prepare all necessary milling at the factory.
Will there be a draft from below?
Excluded if you use the right threshold. We recommend a "warm" aluminum threshold with thermal break, 20mm high. It cuts off the cold bridge, protects from angled rain and is low enough not to trip over.
How hard is it to break in?
Very hard. When using a multi-point lock (bolts and hooks engage the frame at multiple points) and anti-burglary strikers, the door resists crowbar prying for 15-20 minutes (RC2 class). This is enough to deter any casual burglar.
What design can I choose?
Any. The 70mm profile accepts infills up to 42mm thick. These can be designer sandwich panels, stained glass, triplex glass, mirror inserts or wood-grain lamination. The door fits both classic and hi-tech styles.
