The Schüco LivIng Door entrance door is your home's calling card, combining the security of steel with the thermal insulation of plastic. The system is developed on the basis of the 7-chamber LivIng 82 profile, guaranteeing perfect compatibility with windows and no color differences.

The main feature is the use of the world's first weldable EPDM gaskets, which provide corner airtightness unattainable with conventional doors. Combined with a warm threshold and robust reinforcement, this door provides reliable protection against cold and uninvited guests.

The system comes with a combined threshold only 20 mm high. It consists of strong aluminum and a plastic thermal insert, which prevents freezing from below while allowing strollers or suitcases to pass through freely.

How does this door differ from a balcony door?

In every way. This is a full-fledged entrance system: it has a wider sash profile (designed for locks and heavy hinges), robust reinforcement, aluminum threshold, and reinforced hinges that can support up to 120 kg.

How reliable are the locks?

The door is fitted with a Schüco SafeMatic multi-point lock. When closing the door, it automatically secures the leaf at 4-5 points (hooks or bolts), even if you haven't turned the key, protecting against prying.

Can you install an opaque infill?

Yes, instead of glass you can install a sandwich panel or designer overlay panel that completely covers the sash profile from the outside, creating a solid door effect.

Is it suitable for a private house?

This is an ideal option for a private home. Thanks to the thermal break in the threshold and 7-chamber frame, the door does not freeze or frost on the inside, unlike cheap metal doors.

What hinges are used?

Special surface-mounted or concealed Schüco door hinges are used, adjustable in three planes (3D). They ensure smooth operation and tight sash contact.

Does the color match the windows?

Yes, if you have Schüco LivIng windows, the door will be made from the same material using the same lamination films, ensuring 100% color match with your facade.
