Veka Softline 70 entrance doors are designed for those who do not accept compromises between security and aesthetics. Unlike lightweight balcony doors, this system is manufactured from a special door profile with increased section height and 3 mm outer wall thickness (Class "A"). The key feature is the use of powerful closed reinforcement with integrated welded corner connectors ("hooves"). This technical solution creates a rigid steel contour inside the plastic, ensuring that the door will not sag, deform, and will close tightly even after 20 years of intensive use.
In addition to phenomenal strength, the system provides excellent thermal insulation thanks to the 5-chamber structure and 70 mm installation depth. The door comes with a "warm" aluminum threshold with thermal break that blocks cold from the floor and prevents freezing at the bottom. The ability to install burglar-resistant hardware, multi-point locks, and impact-resistant glass units or sandwich panels makes Veka Softline 70 an impenetrable barrier against cold and uninvited guests.

How does an entrance door differ from a balcony door?
In everything. A wider sash (105-120 mm), powerful closed reinforcement, corner connectors ("hooves"), reinforced hinges, and full lever handle set with lock are used. A balcony door is just a large window.
Will there be drafts from under the threshold?
No, if a warm threshold with thermal break and double sealing circuit is used. A special "wind stop" and drop-down seal (optional) guarantee air-tightness at the bottom.
What lock is best to install?
For a private home, we recommend a multi-point lock (lock strip). When turning the key or raising the handle, the door presses against the frame not at one point, but at 3-5 points along the entire height, ensuring air-tightness and burglary protection.
Can this door be installed in a store?
Yes, Veka Softline 70 is Class A and designed for high traffic. For public places, we recommend using an aluminum threshold and office pull handle with door closer.
What is warmer: glass unit or sandwich?
A quality sandwich panel (24-40 mm) is usually warmer than a glass unit because it consists of insulation. However, a glass unit with low-E glass lets in light. A compromise is decorative panels with stained glass inserts.
Is there burglary protection?
Yes. The profile allows installation of anti-burglary hardware, anti-removal pins on the hinge side, and armored cylinder covers. Resistance class can reach RC2.
