WDS Door 70 — Your fortress and calling card. This system is designed specifically for main entry groups of private homes and cottages. The increased installation depth (70 mm) and 5-chamber profile structure make this door a full barrier against winter cold and summer heat.
Advantages over standard doors:
- Thermal insulation: Unlike "cold" aluminum or thin 60 mm doors, the WDS 70 system doesn't freeze or "cry" with condensation. This allows installing it directly in the entryway without building a cold vestibule.
- Monolithic: We use special "hooves" (welded corner connectors) inside the profile. This prevents heavy sash sagging, even if it weighs over 100 kg. The door will close as easily in 10 years as on day one.
- Silence: The ability to install 40 mm glass units allows using soundproof glass, completely blocking street noise.

Frequently Asked Questions about WDS Door 70
What's the difference between WDS Door 60 and 70?
The main difference is thermal insulation and rigidity. The 70 mm series is warmer (5 chambers vs 4) and allows thicker glass units (40 mm vs 32 mm). For residential homes, we specifically recommend the 70 series.
How well is this door protected from burglars?
We install locks with 5 locking points (hooks and pins). When turning the key, the door locks around the entire perimeter, making sash forcing with a crowbar virtually impossible (RC2 class).
Will there be drafts from under the threshold?
No. We use a "warm" aluminum threshold with thermal break and double bottom sealing. It doesn't freeze and eliminates floor-level drafts.
What size door can be made?
WDS 70 system allows manufacturing sashes up to 2300 mm high and 1100 mm wide. For wider openings, we make French (double-sash) doors.
