Cortizo transferred its highest quality standards and engineering precision from the aluminium industry to PVC production. The A 70 system is manufactured at a modern factory in Spain using advanced compounds. You get a premium-grade product at the price of a classic plastic window.
Will these windows help if they face a noisy street?
Absolutely. The A 70 system is specifically designed with a wide rebate for glazing units up to 40 mm. This allows for a "laminated glass-air-laminated glass" glazing formula or glasses of different thicknesses, which dampens sound wave resonance. With this solution, traffic noise is reduced to a soft whisper.
Will the white profile turn yellow under the bright Spanish sun?
No, this is ruled out. Cortizo uses a PVC formula with increased titanium dioxide content and special color stabilizers. The material undergoes rigorous "artificial aging" tests in climate chambers. The profile whiteness is preserved for decades even under direct southern sun rays.
How well are these windows protected against break-ins?
The profile has reinforced walls and rigid steel reinforcement, allowing secure mounting of anti-burglary hardware. The hardware groove axis is offset by 13 mm, enabling installation of reinforced locking pins. With anti-vandal glazing, the window becomes a serious obstacle for intruders.
How does the system handle condensation?
Thanks to the profile heat transfer coefficient of 1.3 W/m²K and the use of a "warm" spacer bar in the glazing unit, the window surface on the room side stays warm. This prevents reaching the "dew point", so with normal room ventilation, the risk of condensation is minimized.
Can this system be used for large balcony doors?
Yes, the statics of the Cortizo A 70 profile allow manufacturing sashes up to 2.4 meters high. Thanks to quality reinforcement, the door does not "sag" over time and maintains seal integrity. This is an excellent solution for terrace or balcony exits.
