Cortizo COR Vision PLUS is a system that pushes the boundaries of what is possible. While the standard Vision series impresses with its slenderness, the PLUS version is designed to astound with its scale. It is engineered specifically for spanning enormous openings: sashes can reach 4 meters in height, transforming the facade into a continuous glass screen. The visible width of the central interlock is only 25 mm - negligible for a structure capable of supporting glass weighing up to 700 kg.
The main technological advantage of PLUS over the standard version is the ability to install ultra-wide glazing units up to 54 mm thick. This is a game-changer: now you can install a full triple-glazed unit (4 panes) or the most powerful armored laminated glass in a minimalist sliding system. With this system, you get not only the fantastic design of a "glass house" but also Passive House level thermal insulation, unattainable by thinner alternatives.

What is the main difference between Vision and Vision PLUS?
Vision PLUS is a more powerful system. It allows for taller sashes (4m vs 3m) and thicker glass (54mm vs 30mm). However, the central interlock on PLUS is slightly wider (25mm vs 20mm), which is the trade-off for supporting massive loads.
Can the frame be completely concealed?
Yes, the system is designed for flush installation. The bottom frame is recessed into the floor (level with the finished surface), while the top and side sections are concealed behind the suspended ceiling and wall finishes. Only the glass and narrow central interlock remain visible.
Is motorization mandatory?
No, sashes weighing up to 400 kg can be operated manually. The stainless steel roller system ensures very smooth operation. However, for maximum-size sashes (approaching 700 kg) or for ultimate convenience, automation is strongly recommended.
Is this system suitable for Passive House construction?
Yes, Vision PLUS is one of the few minimalist systems capable of meeting Passivhaus standards. Thanks to the option for triple glazing, the overall window thermal transmittance can be reduced to 0.9 W/m2K.
How are such enormous glass panels installed?
Installing Vision PLUS is a complex engineering operation requiring the use of crane manipulators and vacuum lifters (robots). Vehicle access to the site must be ensured in advance.
Can a corner window be made without a mullion?
Yes, like its smaller sibling, Vision PLUS supports the open corner solution (90 degrees). Two giant sashes meet at the corner, and when opened, you get completely unobstructed space without supports.
