Schüco ASE 67 PD (Panorama Design) is an architectural system created for complete fusion of interior space with the surrounding landscape. Unlike classic sliding systems, the frame here is designed to be fully recessed into walls, floor, and ceiling. Only the narrow central sash meeting point remains visible.
This system offers a unique level of comfort thanks to the absolutely flat "Zero Level" threshold. You do not step over the frame — the living room floor flows seamlessly into the terrace. The innovative locking mechanism is relocated to the central meeting zone, allowing the handle to be removed from the side of the sash, making the design as clean as possible.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions about Schüco ASE 67 PD
Where does water go with a flush threshold?
The system features a sophisticated concealed drainage channel below floor level. Water exits through slots in the guides and is directed to the storm drain, so even during heavy rain the house stays dry.
Can the glass be replaced if the frame is in the wall?
Yes, the design is engineered so that glass unit replacement is possible without dismantling the frame or damaging wall finishes, despite the concealed installation.
How warm is this system?
Although this is a panoramic system, Uw reaches 1.0 W/m²K. This is sufficient for comfortable year-round living, however for harsh climates and passive houses the ASE 80.HI series is better suited.
How do you open without a handle?
The sash has an elegant grip or concealed pull bar. Locking and unlocking is done at the sash meeting zone, and movement is achieved with a light push thanks to quality rollers.
What is the difference from ASS 77 PD?
ASE 67 PD is an evolution of the system. It is more technologically advanced, easier to manufacture, has an improved locking mechanism, and offers greater flexibility in sash combinations with slightly less installation depth.
What is the maximum sash weight?
The system is designed for sashes weighing up to 400 kg. This allows creating sliding elements with an area of up to 10 square meters each.
