Veka Vekamotion 82 MAX is the evolution of lift-and-slide systems, created for the most demanding modern architecture. In this modification, Veka engineers implemented the concept of the "disappearing frame." The unique profile design of the fixed (stationary) part allows the plastic frame to be almost completely hidden in the floor and side reveals. As a result, you see only glass, from floor to ceiling, without the massive plastic mullions typical of standard HS portals.
This solution is not only aesthetically flawless but also practical. By reducing the visible profile height, the glazing area is significantly increased (up to +7 cm in height and +3.5 cm in width), flooding the room with natural light. At the same time, technical specifications remain excellent: the system uses the same powerful 82 mm Class "A" platform, ensuring rigidity, air-tightness, and the ability to install heavy energy-efficient glass units up to 54 mm thick.

MAX Version Features:
- System type: Designer modification of the Vekamotion 82 HS portal.
- Main difference: Unique fixed sash profile geometry. Visible mullion width is minimized.
- Hidden frame effect: The design allows the fixed part frame to be "recessed" into the opening reveal from three sides (side, top, bottom), creating a frameless glazing effect.
- Light gain: Light opening increased by 7 cm in height and 3.5 cm in width compared to the standard version.
- Appearance: The facade looks modern and minimalist from outside, with only a narrow strip of the sliding sash profile visible.

- Frame installation depth: 194 mm (extended base for stability).
- Sash installation depth: 82 mm.
- Profile class: A (3 mm wall).
- Reinforcement: Closed steel contour. The MAX version uses reinforced static stiffeners to compensate for reduced profile height.

- Glass unit: up to 54 mm (triple-chamber, laminated). In the fixed part, the glass unit occupies almost the entire area.
- Threshold: Warm threshold with barrier-free installation option (DIN 18040). In the MAX version, the fixed part threshold can be completely hidden by the floor.

What is the difference between MAX and regular Vekamotion 82?
In the MAX version, the fixed (stationary) part frame is significantly reduced and can be hidden in the reveal. In the regular version, the frames of fixed and active parts have the same visible width.
Can both sashes be made in MAX design?
MAX design applies only to the fixed (stationary) part or fixed side elements. The active (sliding) sash always has a standard frame to accommodate the lock and handle.
Is MAX version installation more complex?
Yes, installation requires more careful opening preparation as the frame is often recessed into the floor and walls to achieve the "frameless" effect. High installer qualification is required.
Does the narrow frame affect strength?
No. Veka uses special reinforced steel profiles inside the MAX version to compensate for reduced plastic height. The structure rigidity remains exceptional.
How much more expensive is this than the standard version?
The MAX version costs approximately 15-20% more due to more complex profiles and reinforcement, as well as increased glass unit area.
Can automation be installed?
Yes, the MAX version is fully compatible with concealed drives (e.g., Siegenia MHS400) that are installed inside the frame profile and controlled from a smartphone.
