What's the main difference between WDS 6S and cheaper WDS 5S?
The main difference is width (70 mm vs 60 mm) and chamber count (6 vs 5). WDS 6S is significantly warmer and allows for thicker, quieter glass units (40 mm). The price difference is small, but comfort is noticeably higher. We recommend 6S for living rooms and bedrooms.
Is this window suitable for subsidies (Plan Renove)?
Yes. Thanks to high thermal resistance, WDS 6S profile windows combined with energy-saving glass typically qualify for tax deductions and housing renovation subsidies in Spain.
Won't the profile turn yellow in the sun?
No. We use calcium-zinc (CaZn) stabilizers resistant to UV radiation. The glossy surface doesn't absorb dirt and remains snow-white for decades.
What hardware can be installed?
The profile has a standard eurogroove (13 mm), allowing installation of any quality hardware: Roto, Siegenia, Maco, or Axor. We can also install RC2 class anti-burglar hardware.
Do these windows fog up?
With proper installation and ventilation — no. The 6-chamber frame structure is so warm that the inner profile surface always stays at room temperature, preventing condensation on the plastic.
Can I order a colored window instead of white?
Yes, WDS 6S profile is available in a wide lamination palette: wood finishes (golden oak, walnut, mahogany), as well as solid colors (anthracite, gray, black). Lamination can be single-sided (exterior) or double-sided. Manufacturing time for colored windows increases by 5-7 days.
